A man was shot and killed when he tried to stop a fight in 17th Street recently.
According to the police, the suspect fired one shot at the victim and missed him.
The victim ran to 15th Street where his friends were, but the suspect followed him.
It is alleged that the suspect caught him and shot him in the chest.

Const Cynthia Mtsweni, police spokesman, said the victim tried to escape and ran back to 17th Street, but he collapsed and died.
“We arrested the suspect after an investigation by Const Walter.
“The police recovered the firearm, 26 bullets and a packet of dagga.”
