Severe weather to hit Secunda and surrounding areas this afternoon
Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in stormy weather as visibility can be compromised.
SECUNDA – Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected for Secunda and surrounding areas later this afternoon, 3 October.
Various local Zello groups have issued a warning on the approaching storm, stating that a severe storm with gusty winds, hail, heavy rain, and reduced visibility is expected between 3pm and 8pm today.
According to Accuweather, there is a 22% chance for rain by 3pm and 66% by 4pm with temperatures dropping to a mere 12˚C by 6pm.
