WATCH: CPF and rescue workers give demonstrations at Lekke Fees

SECUNDA – The Secunda Community Policing Forum and emergency workers and companies pulled together their weight to offer a morning of interesting demonstrations and interactive shows at the Lake Umuzi Lekke Fees on Saturday, 29 September.

The demonstrations included an interactive CPR class presented by Ms Marlene Grobelaar, a snake show and a self-defense presentation by Elite Defense Academy.

Various stalls were erected to display weaponry, security services and emergency services for different companies such as Jelani Security, StratconRisk, ER24 ambulance services, the Sector Police, the CPF and the Govan Mbeki municipal firebrigade.

ER24 and the firebrigade also held the audience captivated by their demonstration on how they extinguish a burning car and extract an injured person from a car wreck.

The crew of ER24 who were part of the rescue demonstration, comprises Ms Beauty Ndluzi, Ms Kea Dlamini, Mr Lonwabo Mtshiza and Mr Chris du Bruyn.
The GMM firebrigrade crew that was part of the demonstration at the Lekke Fees are Ms Vinolia Khoarane, Mr Douw Botha, Mr Watson Thamaga and Mr Dirk van Heerden.
