BETHAL – Various stolen items were recovered and suspects were arrested recently.
The recovered items include televisions, tablets, printers and cell phones.
In the first incident, Const Khethokuhle Ndlovu and Const Kenneth Maseko were busy with their regular patrol when they received information about two men carrying a flat screen TV and a tablet.
The two officers responded swiftly and managed to apprehend the suspects.
They are expected to appear at Bethal Magistrate’s court soon and are faced with charges of the possession of suspected stolen property.
In a separate incident, Det/Const Khomotjo Nkadimeng and Det/Const December Jele followed up on a tip-off and managed to the arrest and recovered a plasma television, tablet, printer and cell phones.
It is suspected that the items were stolen during a house-breaking incident which was reported previously.
The station commander, Lt/Col Petrus Nzima, thanked the members for apprehending the suspects and the recovery of the stolen items.
