SECUNDA – Police are calling on residents to keep their old cars in safe places.
This came after several cases were reported where old cars or unused cars were stolen.
Police said that these cars are often an easy target because they are parked outside or in unsafe places.
Cpt Bettinah Zondo, police spokesman, said these crimes can be avoided if residents could ensure that their belongings and property are kept in a safe place.
She said the police are working hard to track down all crime suspects.
