Place your jaffel order to support Kristopher Ryan Centre

The past week had large orders from businesses in the area for approximately 180 jaffels that were made at the Kristopher Ryan Centre to raise funds.

SECUNDA – The Kristopher Ryan Centre together with the Mpumalanga Mental Health Society in Secunda held a fete on Saturday, 17 November to raise money in order to keep their doors open.

Unfortunately, there was not much support from the community.

Mr Edward Moutlana, a social worker at the MMHS, was there to raise awareness on mental health issues and what the community can do to assist the organisation.

He also had gift bags and gift wrapping packages for sale that were donated to the association for them to sell.

Ms Pam Kotze, said that any donations they have received and will receive in the future from the community is greatly appreciated.

The past week they had large orders from businesses in the area for about 180 jaffles that were made at the Kristopher Ryan Centre in aid of raising funds.

Ms Kotze said that they are ready to take even bigger orders this coming week.

Next year, the centre is planning on having a monthly market as their fundraising initiative, to be able to continue with the work they are doing for the community.

You can also visit the centre and purchase items on sale in support of the cause.
