#TeamChris creates awareness in the fight against the abuse of women and children
Some of the records Batts keep are for the most times flipping a 85kg tyre in eight hours, the fastest time to flip a 100kg tyre in 500m while blindfolded, the fastest time to ride a wheelchair for 10km, the fastest time to flip a 209kg tyre for 1km and the fastest time to pull a car 25m while in a wheelchair.
World record holders in tyre flipping, Chris Batts and Chris Liebenberg, better known as #TeamChris, visited Secunda this morning.
Batts holds the world record in tyre flipping 31 times and Liebenberg 12 times.
#TeamChris created awareness of crime this morning when they flipped a 85kg bulldozer tyre down the street.
They kicked off at the traffic light on the corner of Trichardt Road and Helen Joseph Drive.

They flipped the tyre all the way to the police station in Secunda where the cluster commander of Secunda, Brig. Sifiso Cele and other policemen welcomed them.
Batts was the founder of the non-profit organisation, Sport against Crime, and with the tyre flipping initiative this morning, he also launched this organisation in Secunda and said they are planning big things for the new year.
They also celebrated 16 Days of Activism for no violence against women and children with this event.

Liebenberg, the manager of Ford’s New Car Sales Department at Eastvaal Motors in Secunda, also broke several records when it comes to tyre flipping.
The dealer principal of Eastvaal Motors, Mr Terry Petzer, travelled with the team during their initiative this morning and supported them.
