Good Samaritan offers LCUC a new bakkie
“After I heard about their unfortunate accident, I felt I had to do something,” Mr Dippenaar said.
A local businessman donated a new Ford Ranger-bakkie to the Lekwa Clean Up Crew (LCUC) on 19 December.
Mr Hendrik Dippenaar from Allegro Vulstasie handed over the bakkie to Mr Brandon Thompson, LCUC supervisor.
“I love Standerton because of the people, they have amazing hearts,” Ms Suzelle Kemp said.
“After the accident with the LCUC’s Toyota Venture on 18 December, we were worried as to how we will cope.
The LCUC expressed their gratitude to Mr Dippenaar for his act of kindness.
“After I heard about their unfortunate accident, I felt I had to do something,” Mr Dippenaar said.
“I hope they will continue to do the good work they have been doing in town for many more years to come.”
