Taxi collides with Lekwa Clean Up Crew’s vehicle

Jeria Ambulance Services attended to all the parties involved before they went their respective ways.

A taxi making its way from eMbalenhle to Standerton rear-ended the trailer of the Lekwa Clean Up Crew (LCUC) on the R546/Secunda Road on 18 December.

After the collision, the LCUC’s vehicle went off the road and overturned before being ending up in a ditch.

According to the Standerton Police, the bakkie was exiting the dumping site onto the R546.

The taxi had a total of 11 occupants, while the LCUC had the driver and one passenger.

Jeria Ambulance Services attended to all the parties involved before they went their respective ways.

Alternative transport was provided for the 11 taxi passengers.

An accident report was filed with the Standerton Police.
