#BethalWater – Day 7: Community stands together, set up water collection points

We urge the community to stand together and help us collect as much water as possible.

The lack of water in some areas of Bethal are now a crisis as residents have been without clean, drinkable water for seven days.

We therefore urge the community to stand together and help us collect as much water as possible.

The following collection points have been set up:

EVANDER:
14 Leuven

SECUNDA:
6 Juta
3 Wolwespruit
8 Bosbok
28 Wilge
Ridge Times/Echo Newspapers (at mini Pay n Pay)

TRICHARDT:
21 Carolus
21 Nikkor (till 4pm everyday)

BETHAL:
Sasol N17
OK Grocer

We ask that clean 2lt bottles filled with water are dropped off by Thursday, 24 January.
Milk and oil bottles are unfortunately not allowed.
A convoy will then transport this water to Bethal on Friday, 25 January.

If you can assist with the transportation of the water, please forward your name and number to 076 051 0710 or if you can get more involved contact Bethal CPF, Jaap Pretorius at 082 806 1921.
