Secunda police replace printed competency certificates with cards

The printed versions are mere being replaced by cards.

SECUNDA – Residents who received competency certificates from the Secunda Police, can take note that these are now being converted to a card system.

Although your SAPS 524 competency certificate is still valid, all those who were issued with certificates can now expect to also receive a card.

The firearm officer at Secunda Police Station said cardholders will not receive notification messages, but are welcome to pop into their offices from time to time to check if their cards have arrived.

The printed versions are merely being replaced by cards.

There are also several firearms licenses waiting for collection at the firearms offices.

They also asked that if your personal details, especially contact numbers, have changed, to notify them.
