SECUNDA – The Secunda police arrested a 31-year-old casino worker at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club on Friday, 8 March.
According to Capt Bettina Zondo, spokesman for the Secunda Police Station, the suspect works at the casino tables.
“He allegedly manipulated the system for two days so that his friend who hails from Gauteng, will win.”
Capt Zondo said the friend won R310 000 before the casino’s cameras picked up on the deceit.
The employee appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
