Blood donors turn out in numbers in Secunda

The spirit of giving was evident when 87 donors came forward to donate blood at a SANBS blood drive hosted at Re/MAX Homefinders on October 8.

First-time donors and regular supporters of the gift of life came out in numbers to support the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) blood drive on October 8.

The blood drive was hosted at Re/MAX Homefinders in collaboration with SSV Attorneys and GTR/MCR.

A total of 87 people donated blood, potentially helping save up to 261 lives, since each donation can benefit up to three patients.

The successful drive highlighted the importance of blood donation and the role community members play in helping ensure a sufficient blood supply for patients in need.
