EVANDER – A foreign national was arrested at a stop and search operation conducted by members of the police’s crime prevention team in Evander today, 19 March .
The man was searched and 12 packets of drugs (crystal meth) were found in his possession.
He is due to appear in the Evander Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, 20 March, facing charges of possession of illegal drugs.
The police management in Mpumalanga hailed the arrest and urged all members to put more effort in ensuring that the authority of the state is stamped.
