Community to tackle Trichardt’s tall grass
The CPF committee is asking residents to bring their lawnmowers, brush cutters, garden tools, black bags and to pitch in.
TRICHARDT – The Community Policing Forum (CPF) of Trichardt plans to take hands with AfriForum, the community, and local businesses in cleaning up the town on Saturday, 23 March.
According to Mr Clarke van der Walt, Trichardt CPF Chairman, the focus will be on cutting grass and clearing up the bushy areas in the town as these have become a serious concern for crime.
The community has shown a keen interest on the CPF’s WhatsApp group.
The CPF Committee is asking residents to bring their lawnmowers, brush cutters, garden tools, black bags and to pitch in.
They will be meeting in front of the Trichardt Library at 8am to discuss plan of action before the actual work begins.
