Mr Ben Makola is the new MMC of Finance
Ms Nomkhosi Zulu has been moved from the Finance department to Special Projects.
SECUNDA – Mr Ben Makola has been appointed as the new MMC for the Finance Department.
He was appointed today during a council meeting when Ms Thandi Ngxonono, the Executive Mayor of Govan Mbeki Municipality, announced changes in the mayoral committee.
She divided the department of Technical Services in two.
Mr Sakhile Mahlangu will lead the department of Water and Sanitation and Mr Dan Nhlapo will lead the department Roads and Energy.
Ms Nomkhosi Zulu has been moved from the Finance department to Special Projects.
Ms Ethel Nkosi remains in the Planning and Development department and Ms Betty Ndaba still remains as the MMC for Corporate Services.
Mr Anthony Makhaye is the MMC for Community Service.
