Alicia inspires chubby girls
Last year she entered one of the biggest pageants in the area, Miss Thomas Heights Plus, and won.
eMZINONI – Ms Lesedi Alicia Mthimkhulu has a dream of becoming a professional singer, actor and model.
She has began taking positive steps towards this dream of becoming a superstar by entering beauty pageants and sharpening her singing skills.
Ms Mthimkhulu was born and bred in Bethal and developed a love for modelling in primary school.
As a kid she should would wear high heels and make-up and parade for her family.
She would spend hours watching TV, especially the beauty and modelling channels.

Last year she entered one of the biggest pageants in the area, Miss Thomas Heights Plus, and won.
“Entering the Miss Thomas Heights Plus was a bold step and it revealed to me that I had potential to grow in modelling.
“I was taking a chance when I went for the auditions and fortunately I went through and eventually won.
“Winning the competition inspired me to continue and to spread my wings in modelling.”
Right after winning the competition, she did professional photo shoots and volunteered to market and promote local brands.
She encouraged young chubby girls not to despise themselves, but to rather love and cherish their bodies.
Ms Mthimkhulu will be in the near future host various community projects and charity work.
