A light duty vehicle (LDV) was stolen and animals were poisoned at the intersection of Charl Cilliers Street and Stander Street in Standerton in the early hours of 1 November.
According to Mr Jannie Kasselman of Kasselman Security Services (KSS), the lock of the gate in Stander Street was broken and the white Nissan 1400 pushed outside.
The home owner heard her small dog inside the house barking just after 4am and let the dog out.
The animal did not act well as soon as he returned.
After investigation, they found the vehicle missing and the poisoning of two dogs.
The registration number of the Nissan is JPN 183 MP and its tank is full of petrol.
The vehicle is not fitted with a tracking device and no CCTV-footage available.
