Heavy rain exposes bad roads in eMbalenhle

Locals fears that if the rain continues they could be in danger

eMBALENHLE – The heavy rain in the past week has exposed poor roadwork in the area.

Motorists complained that their cars were stuck in mud due to the recent torrents, especially in Mandela Section.

Though some are blaming the municipality, many blamed the downpour of rain and complained that water is now flowing into their houses.

Some motorists claimed that they have to park their vehicles at the homes of their friends in other extentions, because the roads are so bad in the area.

They are hoping that the rain will finish soon, because their lives are at risk.

The said police cars and emergency vehicles cannot service them, because of the bad roads.

They Wela Mlambo River is also overflowing its banks and authorities have warned people be cautions and to avoid using low bridges.
