#HelpAChild: Hlengiwe collects uniforms for needy learners in eMzinoni
The #HelpAChild campaign is targeting girls
eMZINONI – Hlengiwe Lukhele, a local model, has launched the #HelpAChild campaign to help needy learners, especially girls, in the area.
She is collecting school uniforms and stationery to help learners who cannot afford these items.
She came up with this initiative after she had a conversation with some of the girls in the area who raised the various challenges with which they are faced.
Hlengiwe depends on donations from friends and various organisations such as churches and businesses to keep her project running.
She urged the locals to take part in the initiative and said it will help those who are in need.
She is passionate about helping the needy, contributing towards restoration and giving them the dignity they deserve.
