A woman was robbed of R200 000 on 9 January at 12.30pm after withdrawing money at a bank in Standerton.
According to Kasselman Security Services (KSS), the money were found where the accused were staying in Mbonani Mayisela Street.
The communications officer of the Standerton Police, Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, said on Thursday that the woman withdrew her pension money.
The Zambian suspects befriended her, one being a nyanga, with the promise that her money will multiply in their hands.
Capt Nhlabathi added that the suspects were not sangomas, the difference lying in the former dealing in muti and medicine.
Police arrested the two suspects.
Capt Nhlabathi said the stolen money, being such a large amount, could not be kept at the station.
Arrangements were made to take it back to the bank for the necessary adjustment to her account.
