Woman flung from car in accident on N17 near Trichardt

TRICHARDT – A woman was injured in an accident on the N17 highway near the tollgate between Trichardt and Bethal this afternoon, 22 February.
She was the passenger in one of two vehicles involved in the crash that happened about at about 5pm.
The car she travelled in ended up rolling into the field along the highway and in the process she was flung from the vehicle. The woman sustained moderate injuries and was rushed to hospital by ER24 ambulance services.
The passenger in the other vehicle was also lightly injured and taken to hospital.
Neither driver of the vehicles was injured.
Car doctor, Sectri Autobody, GTR , JTR and the traffic department were also on the scene.
