Social worker asks people to reach out by donating food

Covid-19 pandemic affects needy people

HIGHVELD – Rata social services requested the community to support them by donating food.

Ms BS Nobendle of Rata, said this time of Covid-19, lockdown and social distancing is a difficult time for Rata and they still need to feed needy families.

She said their offices are in need of food and she encouraged the community to reach out to them and thus help families that have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

If you want to help, contact Rata’s office at 017 631 1631 or 081 216 8976 or visit them on the corner of Prinsloo and Ruth First Street in Trichardt.

Their banking details are: Absa Bank, Rata Social Services (NPC), 151 028 1191 (bank account number), cheque account.

The reference, Food Don Sec, can be used.
