Thieves targeted an empty house in Essenhout Street as well as another property in the same street on 16 June.
According to Kasselman Security Services (KSS), entry was gained in the first instance by cutting the security gate open.
KSS noticed the housebreaking and informed Eskom.
Electrical wires have been stolen.
In the second instance, entry was gained by opening the window and forcing the burglar bars open.
A 55″ flatscreen television is missing.
The time of the theft could not be established.
