Critical child burn victim airlifted from Ermelo to Johannesburg

According to information, the patient will be transferred by ER24 from MediClinic to the school and then airlifted from Ermelo to a Johannesburg specialist facility. 

The HALO 1 Trauma Team was activated for the airlift of a critically injured child burn victim on 3 July.

The helicopter landed on Ligbron Academy of Technology’s rugby field at about 7pm.

According to information, the patient will be transferred by ER24 from Mediclinic Ermelo to the school and then airlifted from Ermelo to a Johannesburg specialist facility.

The patient is said to originally be from Pongola.
