Covid-19 case confirmed at Amersfoort Police Station

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally on Tuesday, 8 July.

All communities serviced by the Amersfoort Police Station are advised that the police station will be temporarily closed due to one member who tested positive for the Covid-19 on 5 July.

The Community Service Centre will now be operated from the Amersfoort 1912 town hall, in Sybrandt van Niekerk Street near the police station.

The community can in the interim call the following number for emergencies and complaints:

  • 076 459 0120

The telephone lines at Amersfoort police station will not be accessible for the duration of this closure, however service delivery will not be hampered.

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally on Wednesday, 8 July.

Police Management apologised for any inconvenience that may arise.
