Motorists were fortunate to escape serious injury after an accident outside Ermelo on the Hendrina Road – near Douglas Dam on 3 July.

The accident occurred at about 9.30am when one vehicle from Ermelo and another from Witbank were involved in a head-on collision.

The occupants from both vehicles walked away with only minor injuries.

ER24, local police, EMS and the fire brigade, were on the scene.
