Covid-19 case temporarily shuts down Chief Albert Luthuli Municipal offices in Carolina

The Department of Health will assist them with the screening of returning employees on Monday.

The municipal offices of Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality in Carolina have been temporarily closed from 7 July until Monday, 13 July due to positive Covid-19 cases.

The offices that are affected are the municipal offices opposite Wimpy (Project Management Unit), Carolina Head office and the Fire and Rescue Station.

According to Mr Thapelo Phetla, spokesman for Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality, the municipality’s Fire and Rescue Team is busy with the decontamination and deep-cleaning of the offices.

The Department of Health will assist them with the screening of returning employees on Monday.

He added that services delivery will not be hampered by the closure of the offices and residents can use the following numbers:
