More SPCA driven projects now open again

During June the SPCA has the donation crate at the 5-star Spar in Secunda.

HIGHVELD – More SPCA driven projects are now open again.

The Highveld Ridge SPCA has the donation crate at the 5-star Spar in Secunda during June in which the public can place donations.

Any person who is willing to donate products to the SPCA, is welcome to do so.

The ‘Purrrrfect Fit second chance boutique’ is a Highveld SPCA-driven, second hand clothes store that is also again open for trade

“For any more information, just visit the Highveld SPCA Facebook page,” said Ms Mariska Strydom, chairman of the Highveld Ridge SPCA.

The Paw Shop Auctions is also again open for business. This is an online auction Facebook page for the Highveld Ridge SPCA charity shop.

“We are also now registered at Sasol 4 good, a Sasol initiative to make people more involved with their community, to either donate items or to volunteer at the SPCA.

“Unfortunately, during level 3 of the Covid-19 lockdown, no volunteers are allowed to help out at the SPCA yet, but we will keep people informed,” Ms Strydom added.

June is also national Adopt-a-shelter-cat Month, so as from 8 June, the SPCA has been allowed to continue adoptions, There are just a few safety protocols that have to be followed.

You will only be able to adopt a shelter animal, by first making an appointment at the Highveld SPCA office.
