Accident between truck and vehicle claims one life between Ermelo and Breyten

Emergency personnel from ER24, EMS, the Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue team along with police and traffic officials are on the scene.

One person died in an accident between a truck and a car on the Breyten Road at about 2.30pm, today, 1 August.

The road was closed and motorists, frustrated with waiting, took a detour on the outskirts of the scene on a gravel road.

The truck driver was unscathed in the incident.

The person in the car was the only occupant in the vehicle.
