Sphelele wants to be a carpenter just like his dad

SECUNDA – Little Sphelele Masilela (6), a pupil at Trichardtsfontein Primary School, wants to work for Sasol one day.

His father, Mr Petros Masilela, used to work as a contractor and wore overalls daily and eventually, because Sphelele liked it so much, Mr Masilela bought overalls for him as well.

Mr Masilela works as a carpenter and said Spehelle often watches him while he works at home.

If he is not doing carpentry work, he is a bus driver for school children.
