NEHAWU members demonstrate a National Day of Action in Ermelo

Members gathered up and took a stand called the National Day of Action. 

The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (NEHAWU) protested outside Ermelo Provincial Hospital on 1 September. 

Members gathered up and took a stand called the National Day of Action. 

According to one of the members, some of the complaints were, employees have not received salary increments, the establishment of health and safety is not in order, lack of personal protective equipment(PPE) for the front line workers and the quality of the PPE’s are not good. 

Ermelo police and officials from Ermelo Traffic Department were on scene to monitor situation.
