Animals remains dumped in ditch near school in Secunda

The health department of the Govan Mbeki Municipality was not aware of this issue and asked the Ridge Times what the exact location of it was and said they would investigate.

SECUNDA – The heads and remains of blue wildebeest were dumped in a ditch in the field behind Laerskool Goedehoop and the N.G. Goedehoop church last week.

A concerned resident posted photos on social media and said his son showed him the remains.

“What my son described, seemed like a scene out of a horror movie and what he showed me was terrible and raises a concern about the possible flooding of the church as well as a health concern to any young person walking from the school,” said the resident.
