Road conditions in industrial area in Standerton are worrisome

According to him, more than a 100 vehicles are on the road daily, including trucks.

A concerned resident, who works in Factory Street in the industrial area in Standerton, did not mince his words when drawing attention to the road conditions.

He took photos of the sewage flowing at the side of the road, water streaming down the road and the potholes.

According to him, more than a 100 vehicles are on the road daily, including trucks.

He said workers used bricks to counter the damage.

He added that they have tried to enlist the help of the Lekwa Municipality.

The Standerton Advertiser will send photos to the communications manager of the municipality, Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
