Modeling agency in Secunda hosts competition to help Marnu
Competition is not only for models.
TRICHARDT – The Royal Eagles Modeling agency is hosting the Miss and Mrs Queens for Marnu competition on Saturday, 28 November at Mynland in Trichardt.
This competition begins at 10am and registration already opens at 9am at the venue.
The entry fees are R350 per person of which a portion will be donated to Marnu Prinsloo (6) who is fighting cancer.
The Ridge Times reported on Marnu, who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, earlier this year.Marnu was diagnosed with this illness in July in 2017 and already underwent several chemotherapy sessions as well as radiation.
Mr Dries Koekemoer, the owner of the Royal Eagles Modeling agency, said this competition is a charity pageant and thus anybody can enter it, not only models.
“We want to raise money to help Marnu fight Leukemia,” said Mr Koekemoer.
The dress code for the competition is smart casual and all contestants must wear something orange.
No makeup for girls younger than 12 years old is allowed and girls of 13 years and older can wear full natural makeup.
The age categories are 3-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24 and Mrs 25+.
