Ms Ntombi Ngobese was crowned as the first runner-up in the Mrs Mpumalanga competition held in Mbombela on 28 November.

Ms Ngobese said: “It was quite an amazing journey, I have learned a lot.

“I feel blessed to be the first runner-up as it was really a tough competition.”

She added, the finalists were announced on 31 July and she competed against 14 beautiful, intelligent and talented women.

“I’m now looking forward to my life.

Now that the competition is over the amount of work is reduced.

Ms Ngobese said: “I will continue fulfilling my passion doing charity work and being the voice of hope.

“I will continue spreading awareness on gender-based violence and human trafficking.”
