Memorial wall created at Ermelo Mediclinic in memory of those who’ve died

“For patients that made an impact on us and died we stick a rose on the wall in memory of them,” she said.

Frontline workers are sticking blue roses on a wall at Ermelo Mediclinic in memory of the lives that were lost due to Covid-19.

According to Dr Natalie Collis, a local doctor, frontline workers and families stick the roses up on the wall which represents their loved ones.

She said it became overwhelming to lose so many patients and she therefore decided to create a memorial wall for their “Covid-19 angels”.

“For patients who made an impact on us and died, we stick a rose on the wall in memory of them,” she said.

Dr Collis said the team wants families to know that they really care for their patients.
