VIDEO – Motorists escape serious injury after high impact collision in Ermelo

Video footage of the accident shows a truck transporting empty pallets, colliding with the oncoming taxi.

Three vehicles were involved in an accident on Friday 16 April, where a minibus taxi allegedly ignored a stop sign at the intersection of Border Street and Smuts Street.

A third vehicle at the stop sign was also damaged when the pallets fell off the truck and onto the vehicle.

No serious injuries were reported.

Traffic was, however, delayed while emergency services cleared the scene.

Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue, Ermelo Traffic Department, Ermelo Police, Igagu Emergency Services, ACSU, Van Wettens Towing Services and All-Star Towing Services were on the scene.
