Car crashes into electrical substation in Bethal

An electricity substation near Midnight Motors in Church Street went up in flames this morning, June 24, when a car crashed into it.

According to emergency workers, the occupants of the vehicle got out and ran away after they smashed into the structure.

Emergency workers are not sure how many occupants were inside of the vehicle.

The fire brigade extinguished the fire.
