Good Samaritan donates money and blankets for homeless in Standerton

A hot, cooked meal along with a message from the Bible is delivered to the homeless.

Kuyenzeka Kunkulunkulu, a Christian organisation that reaches out to the town’s homeless, expressed their appreciation for the contributions of food from local businesses such as Veggie Spot, Wimpy, Highveld Milling, Gaya Nyama Butchery and Boxer.

A hot, cooked meal along with a message from the Bible, is delivered to the homeless, who gathers every Saturdays in the backyard of a local business.

Ms Thandi Nkabinde, a cleaner at Gert Sibande College, recently heard of this project and attended a Saturday meeting, after which her heart was touched by the plight of the homeless.

She donated money and at a later stage she contributed some blankets.

Ms Nkabinde also had the opportunity to deliver a message, that by all account revealed the love of God inside her heart.
