Runners invited to Secunda Mall’s Take Heart Race
Runners and walkers are encouraged to secure their places for the fifth official Secunda Mall Take Heart Race on October 24, with a 21.1km half marathon, a 10km race, and a 4.9km fun run/walk on offer.
Runners and walkers can start preparing for the fifth official Secunda Mall Take Heart Race, which will take place on October 24.
Secunda Mall, in partnership with the Sasol Marathon Club, will host the event, featuring a 21.1km half marathon, 10km race and 4.9km fun run/walk.
Both the start and finish will be at Secunda Mall. This year’s event will feature chip timing, providing accurate results across the timed events.
The Take Heart Race continues to grow, with participation increasing by 65% in 2025. Organisers are expecting approximately 2 300 participants for this year’s event.
The 4.9km fun run/walk will once again have a special community purpose, with entry fees going towards supporting a local non-profit organisation (NPO).
Participants can enjoy an active morning while supporting a meaningful local cause. Prizes will be awarded to top-performing runners, with male and female categories.
All finishers will receive a Take Heart Race medal as a special memento of the event.
