Standerton Hospital remains a flurry of activity as the community arrives for their vaccinations against the coronavirus.

The CEO, Mr Nhlanhla Dladla, was present at the out-patients department on Tuesday, July 22. Patients were treated with dignity and vaccinations proceeded in an orderly fashion.

Mr Dladla encouraged residents to get their jab. The age groups 35+, 40+ as well as 60+ are eligible to have the Pfizer-vaccination.

Sassa-beneficiaries, as well as employees from the Department of Correctional Services, also waited. CEO Dladla said that vaccinations for the age group 60 and over have not been completed.
