Teens Support Club donates food to homeless in Ermelo
“Thank you for being part of the change we want to see in our town,” she said.
ERMELO-Teens Support Club (TEENSC) fed homeless people in Wesselton as part of their first project recently.
The support club is a foundation that helps mainly teenagers who suffer from mental health issues.
The purpose is to get them to share their emotions and difficulties instead of bottling things up inside.
TEENSC was founded by Makabongwe Mthetwa and Lindokuhle Mahlangu, who are both 16-years-old.
Annebel Ermelo, an organisation, donated groceries to TEENSC, who in turn cooked and prepared meals for the underprivileged in the community.
Ms Saretha Ferns, branch manager of Annebel Ermelo, said she is very proud of TEENSC.
“Thank you for being part of the change we want to see in our town,” she said.
According to Mthetwa, this was their first project.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to Annebel Ermelo and members of TEENSC for all their efforts in making this project possible,” Mthetwa and Mahlangu concluded.
