Three people die in horrific accident

Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene, and had to use the jaws of life to free the driver from the Nissan.

Three people died in an accident at the N17 and Oosthuise Street intersection on August 7.

A Toyota Hilux and a Nissan NP200 collided at the intersection.

According to a paramedic on scene the driver and passenger of the Nissan, and a passenger of the Toyota was declared dead on the scene.

ER24 and Ermelo Provincial Ambulance Services transported two passengers of the Toyota to Ermelo Provincial Hospital.

Both patients suffered moderate injuries.

Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene, and had to use the jaws of life to free the driver from the Nissan.

Mr Mandla Zwane, spokesperson for Msukaligwa Municipality, said police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

Ermelo police, traffic department, Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue, Forensic services, ER24, EMS and towing services were on the scene.
