A final farewell to Isabella Stark

Isabella's cremation service took place on September 25, and due to Covid regulations, only a small number of people could attend it.

ERMELO – Ermelo Outreach Charity hosted a drive-thru memorial service for little Isabella Stark (1), who had died on September 20.

The memorial took place at JC Studios Guest House from 18:00 to 20:30 on September 27.

The outreach group came together with the Stark family to set up a beautiful station for a final farewell to their daughter.

Residents dropped off flowers, cards and donations to show their support for the family. Isabella’s parents, Mr Joshua Stark and his wife Monica, were present at the service and lit up sparklers in her memory.

Isabella’s cremation service took place on September 25, and due to Covid regulations, only a small number of people could attend it.

Isabella had fallen over and choked on some finely chopped nuts, which she inhaled and that stuck in her lungs.

She was airlifted to Netcare Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg, where the fragments of nuts were removed.

Isabella then underwent neuroprotective therapy (cooling therapy), which reduced the swelling throughout her body.

Community members came together and prayed for a miracle.
