Speaker talks about creation at church

Church invites people to event.

Mr Pieter le Roux, teacher and public speaker who holds a masters degree in Zoology, will visit the Afrikaans Protestante Church Hoëveldrif (AP Kerk) on Thursday, October, 21.

Everyone is welcome to attend this event where Mr Le Roux will talk about Genesis – The Foundation of the Gospel.
It will begin at 18:30.

One of the organisers of the event said this is a great outreach opportunity to invite family and friends to hear a presentation about creation not held during a normal church service time.

People attending the event will also have the chance to ask questions after Mr Le Roux’ talk.

Mr Le Roux was raised in a traditional Afrikaans home with the Bible at the centre of his upbringing.

He first encountered evolutionary teachings at university and for a time, he was swayed in a direction towards theistic evolution, but while pursuing his BSc degree, he was exposed to creation literature which renewed his confidence in the historicity of the Genesis account of creation.

According to the organisers of the event, Mr Le Roux has a passion and enthusiasm to communicate the truth of God’s Word. He is a dynamic and engaging speaker who loves working with young people.

The AP Church is situated on the corner of Leonard Flemming Street and Church Street.
