eMba grandmother of four needs help

A group of people in the community reached out to Ms Mam Morwane, an elderly woman who has to take care of her four grandchildren.

Mr Sojijibele Buthelezi initiated the outreach campaign and urged the community to also support this cause.

He delivered groceries to Ms Morwane who currently does not have identity documents and thus cannot claim social grants.

Mr Buthelezi said he and the group that supports him, are hoping that the Department of Home Affairs, as well as the social services, can help the family to resolve the issue with not having identity documents and with food parcels.

He asked business owners and the community to reach out to Ms Morwane.
