Secunda Mall gives away R50 000 in Pay your Bill competition

Secunda Mall celebrated its 8th birthday in October with the Pay your Bill competition as part of the celebrations.

This competition was held throughout the month and shoppers who entered, had the chance to let the mall settle R50 000 of their bills.

Secunda Mall also gave back to several charity and welfare organisations or people in need during October as part of this campaign.

The final draw was held on Saturday, October 30 at the mall and Ms Sibongile Vilakazi was the lucky winner of the R50 000 bill settlement.

The mall management team invited 20 entrants who were treated at the mall with something to drink and a cupcake which they had to eat before the winner was announced.

There were three R1 coins hidden inside the cupcakes and the three shoppers who found the coins inside of their cupcakes, were the top three contestants.

They then had to pick up a hat and one of the hats had the word winner written inside of it.

Apart from Ms Vilakazi winning the R50 000, the other two did not go home empty handed.

Ms Ilse Wels and Ms Sindie Willemse won R5 000 each.

The singer, Refentse, entertained the audience with a few songs and there was entertainment at the mall for the rest of the day in the form of drum majorettes and mascots to name a few.
