Four people die on R23 between Perdekop and Volksrust before midnight
According to the statement, four people were killed when at first a Volkswagen Golf collided sideways into a Peugeot sedan and thereafter crashed into a minibus taxi. that was travelling in the opposite direction.
The Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison in Mpumalanga issued a statement today, February 28 about a collision on the road between Perdekop and Volksrust.
According to the statement, four people were killed when at first a Volkswagen Golf collided sideways into a Peugeot sedan and thereafter crashed into a minibus taxi that was travelling in the opposite direction.
Four of the victims were occupants in the Golf and they include the driver and three passengers.
Twelve people, including the driver and passengers in the minibus sustained serious injuries and they are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
Two people who were the only occupants in the Peugeot sedan were not injured but were also rushed to the hospital for observation.
