Sasol continues to drive social investment activities in Evander
The community of Evander took to social media platforms and WhatsApp groups to praise Sasol and its workers for all their effort in repairing potholes in certain areas.
Once again it is Sasol to the rescue and doing what the local municipality is actually supposed to do.
The community of Evander took to social media platforms and WhatsApp groups to praise Sasol and its workers for all their effort in repairing potholes in certain areas.
In a response to the Ridge Times, Nomia Machebe, media and communications manager for Sasol, said that Sasol continues to drive social investment activities in the communities they operate.
“As a responsible corporate citizen, Sasol is currently involved in two significant projects in the Govan Mbeki Municipality area, the first one being grass cutting and the second one being road maintenance (pothole patching) in various towns within the GMM area to improve community members’ safety as well as to beautify people’s living environments,” said Machebe.
She said these projects are part of Sasol’s commitment to the health and safety of their employees and the communities where they operate and the environment.
“Sasol’s main objective is to continue to create impactful partnerships, rollout sustainable initiatives and projects in partnership with local municipalities, add value to the broader socio-economic development of communities and positively impact the lives of people,” said Machebe.
